What is LEVI24?
LEVI24 is a 24 hour off road endurance mountain bike event in Levi, which can be raced in teams or if you fancy a real challenge you can do it solo!
Levi, where is it?
Levi is in northern Finland, actually Lapland, 170km above Arctic Circle.
Ok, so 24 hour mountain bike event.
What is that?
24 hour mountain bike event is an event where competitors ride their mountain bikes off road for 24 hours. LEVI24 trail loop is about 15km. Competitors can enter as solo riders or teams.
How can you tell who wins?
After 24 hours, the rider and teams that goes the longest distance wins.
24 hours, eh. Is it too extreme for me?
Well maybe the solo class, then you have to be very fit. But with a team you have a great opportunity to check your level of endurance. Its an awesome challenge when you compete against your own limits. Your team cheering in the background will give you extra boost for the next lap! LEVI24 is an event for any level of ability. Beginners will go a bit slower, enjoying the exotic Lappish scenery, but trust me, next round goes a LOT faster! Just remember that
Levi24 is more like festival event than race.
Teams, what kind of teams? How many
can ride at same time?
There will be classes for pairs, 4 person teams and Charity class, which are up to 8 riders. There will be categories for men, women and mixed in pairs and 4 person team classes. Team riders do their loops one at time and can ride as many laps as they like, then handing over the batton to there team mate when they have finished.
Great, I know a great gang who I can enter with. But what we do when we are not riding?
In Levi24 there is lots of stuff going on in the meantime. You can check other happenings in the Levi Gondola area, or visit our Adventure Park, ride our
gravity trails or just chill out.
So 24 hours, that’s day and night? Do I need lights?
Nope. Levi is located so far up north we have sunlight 24/7, midnight sun. No need for lights in LEVI24.
